What types of photography do you specialise in?
I specialise in photographing children and teens: model updates and portfolios for young models, and fashion shoots for kids and teens who'd love a proper photoshoot of their own. I also photograph headshots for actors and performers of all ages, and work with independent children's clothing brands on lookbook and campaign imagery.
What age range do you photograph?
For model work and fashion shoots, children and teens from around 6 to 18. Actor headshots are for all ages.
Where are you based?
My studio is located in a small village just outside of Milton Keynes. Full address and directions are provided upon booking.
How far is the studio from London?
Around 35 to 40 minutes by train from Euston to Bletchley or Milton Keynes, then a short taxi ride to the studio. There's free parking if you're driving.
Do I need to be signed with an agency to book a model session?
No. Plenty of families come to me before they've approached anyone. A portfolio build gives you strong images for an application, and it's also a good way to find out whether your child actually enjoys modelling before you commit to anything.
How often does a child model need new images?
Most agencies like updates every [six to twelve] months, or sooner if your child's look has changed noticeably. A growth spurt, new haircut or lost teeth are all good reasons to refresh.
Do agencies accept your images?
Yes. I regularly photograph children signed with London agencies and I work to whatever brief you've been given. If you forward the agency's requirements I'll make sure we cover them.
What is a fashion shoot for kids and teens?
A styled studio photoshoot that's just for them, nothing to do with modelling or agencies. No experience needed and no pressure, just an afternoon in the studio and a set of images they'll be proud of. They make a lovely birthday present.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, for fashion shoots and any other session. Just get in touch and I'll send one over.
How do I book a session?

Do you offer weekend sessions?
I offer sessions most Saturdays as I understand with studies, school or working during the weeks it's hard to get time off. I do get booked up for these sessions so please give me as much notice as possible.
Do I pay a deposit
A £35 deposit is required to confirm your session This comes off the total amount of the session and is refundable up to 48 hours before the sessions.
How long will a session last?
Depending on which session you book, anything between 1-4 hours. More details can be found on the Pricing page.
What should I bring?
I recommend solid colours, minimal patters, and clothing that reflects your personality. It's better to bring lots of options than not have enough and there is plenty or room to hang everything! For modelling shoots a style guide will be send to you with lots of ideas!
Can I bring a friend or relative with me, and do parents stay?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring someone along for support. Once we begin shooting, though, I kindly ask that they step out or grab a coffee nearby so we can focus fully and create the best possible images without distractions.
If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must stay in the studio for the whole session. You don't need to be involved, and children and teens usually relax more when they're not being watched, so there's a comfortable spot to sit back with a cup of tea while we get on with it.
How many images do I get?
Each package includes a set number of professionally retouched images. Additional retouched images can be purchased at the price listed at bottom of the package.
When will I receive my photos?
You will receive a proof gallery within 3-5 business days after your session. Final retouched images will be ready 10-14 days after you select your favourites.
